Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy is tailored to the actual FanFinds marketplace stack: account creation, listings, bidding, purchases, shipping, payouts, disputes, moderation, and the third-party services used to operate those flows.

1. US-Only Service

FanFinds is intended only for users located in the United States. Our account, shipping, payment, and seller onboarding flows are currently designed for United States users, United States addresses, and United States payment and payout activity.

We do not target or actively offer services to individuals in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MDC Ventures LLC and FanFinds collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information when you visit our website, create an account, browse listings, place bids, make purchases, sell items, contact support, or otherwise use FanFinds.

This Policy applies to information collected through FanFinds directly. It does not govern information collected independently by third parties such as Stripe, Shippo, or social platforms when you interact with their services under their own terms.

  • Communications you send us, including support requests, moderation appeals, legal notices, and safety reports.

4. Notice at Collection

At or before collection, we provide the following California-style notice about the personal information categories we collect, why we collect them, whether we sell or share them, and how long we keep them.

  • Identifiers and account information: username, email address, IP address, account IDs, shipping name, and similar identifiers. Used for account creation, login, security, marketplace operations, and communications. Sold or shared: No. Retention: for as long as relevant to account history, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance.
  • Internet or network activity: browser data, device data, session activity, security logs, and interactions with pages and features. Used for reliability, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and service improvement. Sold or shared: No. Retention: as needed for operations, diagnostics, security, and legal compliance.
  • Sensitive personal information: account credentials, date of birth, precise shipping address, payment-related status, government ID or tax data processed by our providers, and marketplace activity that may reveal intimate or sensitive preferences. Used only to provide the service, verify identity or eligibility, process payments and payouts, ship orders, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. Sold or shared: No. Retention: only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and related compliance, fraud, dispute, and recordkeeping needs.

5. Information You Make Visible to Others

  • Your username, avatar, profile bio, listing content, reviews, ratings, and other content you choose to publish may be visible to other users or visitors.
  • Public listings can appear in marketplace surfaces, creator profiles, and shareable public URLs.
  • Private listings are hidden from general marketplace surfaces but may be accessible to anyone who has the private link.
  • Offer and special-request details are generally visible only to the participating buyer and seller, plus FanFinds moderation/admin tooling as needed for safety, disputes, fraud review, and policy enforcement.
  • Buyer and seller shipping addresses, legal identities, payment details, and sensitive verification information are not intended to be public profile data, but may be shared with service providers and transaction counterparties where needed to complete a transaction, generate labels, comply with law, or manage disputes and chargebacks.

6. Sources of Personal Information

  • Directly from you when you register, complete your profile, upload listings or images, submit bids, make purchases, save shipping details, leave reviews, report accounts or listings, or contact us.
  • Automatically from your browser or device when you use FanFinds, including through local storage, request logs, security tooling, and session activity.
  • From service providers and counterparties involved in a transaction, including payment processors, shipping providers, carriers, and other users who transact with you.

7. How We Use Information

  • Provide and operate the marketplace, including account access, listings, bids, purchases, checkout, shipping, disputes, reviews, and notifications.
  • Operate offer and special-request workflows, including buyer-specific accepted pricing and request/offer response tracking.
  • Process payments, payouts, seller onboarding, tax calculation, fraud checks, refunds, and chargeback management through service providers.
  • Verify eligibility, enforce our policies, moderate content, investigate fraud, detect abuse, and protect users, FanFinds, and third parties.
  • Communicate with you about verification, security, orders, shipment events, disputes, policy changes, and support matters.
  • Send non-essential product updates or marketing communications where permitted by law; if we send non-essential marketing emails, you can opt out using unsubscribe controls.
  • Improve platform performance, diagnose issues, conduct analytics, and develop new product features.
  • Comply with legal obligations, tax obligations, law enforcement requests, court orders, and regulatory requirements.

8. How We Share Information

We may share information with the following categories of recipients:

  • Payment, payout, identity, and tax providers, including Stripe and Stripe Connect.
  • Shipping, label, tracking, and fulfillment providers, including Shippo and carriers.
  • Insurance, claims, chargeback, fraud, and risk-management partners when needed to administer transactions or investigate losses.
  • Email, hosting, database, storage, CDN, infrastructure, and security service providers that help us operate FanFinds.
  • Fraud, abuse, and risk-management vendors or professional advisers where reasonably necessary to protect users or the platform.
  • With buyers and sellers as reasonably necessary to complete a transaction, such as shipping information and order status.
  • With marketplace users where disclosure is required by law for high-volume seller transparency, fraud prevention, or transaction integrity.
  • With regulators, tax authorities, law enforcement, courts, or other parties where required by law, subpoena, legal process, or risk management needs.
  • With acquirers, investors, auditors, or professional advisers in connection with financing, diligence, restructuring, or a business transfer, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We also do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as part of the current product.

9. Sensitive Personal Information

FanFinds may process sensitive personal information, including account credentials, date of birth, shipping address, payment-related status, and identity or tax information handled by our service providers. Because FanFinds may host mature, intimate, or fetish-adjacent physical item listings, marketplace activity may also reveal sensitive personal information or inferences about your preferences in context.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you for advertising. We use sensitive personal information only to provide the service, process payments and shipping, verify identity or eligibility, prevent fraud, manage disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

10. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies

FanFinds currently relies on secure cookies and limited browser storage rather than a broad advertising-cookie stack. We use these technologies to keep you signed in, maintain sessions, remember your theme preference, support secure real-time notifications, and improve reliability and diagnostics.

  • Essential cookies: secure session and authentication cookies required to keep you signed in and protect account access.
  • Preference storage: saved theme preference and similar low-risk interface settings.
  • Realtime service state: socket/session state used for live notifications, auction updates, and mailbox refreshes.
  • No advertising cookies or pixels: we do not currently deploy advertising cookies, ad-tech pixels, or cross-context behavioral advertising tools on FanFinds.
  • Do Not Track and browser privacy signals: because FanFinds does not currently sell/share personal information or run cross-context behavioral advertising, browser DNT and similar browser-level settings generally do not change core platform behavior today. If state law requires honoring recognized universal opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control), we will process valid signals for the browser/device as required by law.

Third-party providers such as Stripe may use their own cookies or similar technologies when you interact with embedded payment or identity components, and those technologies are governed by those providers' own privacy terms.

We may introduce additional technologies in the future for analytics or functionality, and will update this Policy accordingly.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal information based on the nature of the data and the reasons we collected it. We do not use a single universal retention period.

  • Account and profile data: generally kept while your account is active and afterward as needed for security, abuse prevention, and recordkeeping.
  • Transaction, payout, shipping, dispute, and moderation records: kept as long as needed to complete transactions, defend chargebacks, resolve disputes, enforce policies, comply with tax and accounting obligations, and respond to legal requests.
  • Verification, payment, and compliance data: retained according to operational and legal obligations, often through the systems of our payment and compliance providers.
  • Logs and diagnostics: retained for operational security, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance as reasonably necessary.

We may anonymize or aggregate data so that it can no longer be associated with an individual and use that information for lawful business purposes.

12. California and Other U.S. State Privacy Rights

  • You may request to know or access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • You may request deletion of personal information, subject to exceptions for transactions, security, fraud prevention, disputes, payments, tax, accounting, and legal compliance.
  • You may request information about our disclosure practices. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under California law.
  • You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. FanFinds does not sell or share personal information as defined under California law.
  • You may request to limit the use of sensitive personal information, but we already use sensitive personal information only for permitted service, security, payment, shipping, and compliance purposes.
  • Residents of certain U.S. states may also have rights to data portability and, where applicable, to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling activities.
  • You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights.

To submit a privacy request, contact privacy@fanfinds.com. You may also submit a request through an authorized agent where permitted by law, subject to identity and authority verification. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, and we may deny or limit a request where permitted by law.

Where required by applicable state law, we generally respond to valid privacy requests within 45 days and may extend the response period where legally permitted. If your request is denied, you may reply to request an appeal review, and we will process the appeal as required by applicable law.

Residents of certain U.S. states may have similar rights under applicable state privacy laws. FanFinds will process qualified requests in accordance with applicable law and our verification procedures.

Nevada residents may also submit requests regarding the sale of covered information under Nevada law by contacting privacy@fanfinds.com. FanFinds does not currently sell covered information in exchange for monetary consideration under Nevada law.

13. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized use of your account.

14. Children and Age-Restricted Use

FanFinds is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly permit minors to create accounts or participate in the platform. If we learn that a minor has provided us personal information, we may delete or disable the account and associated data as permitted by law. Listings may include mature or suggestive material intended for adults.

15. Vendor Processing and Transfers

FanFinds is a United States service, but some of our vendors may process information from systems or personnel outside your home state. By using FanFinds, you understand that your information may be processed by service providers that support our infrastructure, payments, shipping, storage, email delivery, and security operations.

Our service providers process personal information on our behalf and are contractually restricted from using it for purposes other than providing services to FanFinds.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date above and provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of FanFinds after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
